thank you DrZarkloff for the video,
although I am not an ac tech but I have learned a lot about ac from your videos,
question regarding the valve manifold, when both valves are fully open are both sides” the high and the low are open to ach others” thats how I understood it”
the other question is why do we have two fittings in each sideŁ
and sorry for the poor English as it is not my 1st language
I am an HVAC student and have had a lot of difficulty from a few selfish technicians who are not at all willing to share their knowledge, i see a few on this web page too. BUT THANKS TO A FEW GOOD MAN LIKE YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!!! Did i surprise them after watching your videos! Too bad i couldn’t record and post it on you tube!
if it doesn’t go to zero you need to spend 10 bucks to replace a bad gauge. You don’t need different gauges for different refrigerants, you need different gauges (hoses really) for different oils. Good luck pulling 30″ mercury, on earth at least, good luck pulling 29.9. Maybe the problem is your using the bad gauge instead of a micrometer.
Dear Dr.Zarkloff,
I am Lito from the Philippines, just want to ask why my aircon’s high fan shuts down but my compressor is running.I followed the wiring diagram but it still shutd down. Thanks and I learn a lot from you.
free advice for home owners and running shoe mechanics, soon enough everyone will be a running shoe mechanic and poor drzoloft will be out of work because some arabwill do it for 10 dollars an hour. noble thing you think you are doing there buddy.
So I take it that none of my videos have helped you in the least? I make these videos for the service techs and students of the trade. I looked at your channel. Why don’t you start making videos. Maybe you can make videos that show how I’m so wrong.

Unless you have a variable speed condensing fan motor then it sounds like you could have a bad run capacitor and/or motor.
