    Your cost per sq ft is going to fluctuate with the outside temperature and quality of insulation. I have found that electric heat is usually the most expensive way to heat a house because even the electric company burns fuel to make electricity. Hot water heat properly maintained is my preference.

    smaller area like a kitchen or bath i would do the electric type… entry way would have been nice at my house.. costco was carring them for a while 150$ for a 3′x10′ roll and 150$ for the controller.. read somewhere that it would use about the same ele. cost as a 100w light bulb. as far as elec goes.. if it craps out your kinda stuck…
