It depends where you want to run the radiant floor and the type of floor it is. If its a concrete slab, then it’ll be difficult and quite messy, but if you have access underneath the floor such as a basement under the 1st floor then its can be retrofitted easily.

Yes it is possible to retrofit radiant floor heating and both earlier answerers are on point.
